I am inclined to think that life is what you make it, and I try to make sure that each day when I wake up I feel like life is awesome. You know, a fair amount of work, a whole lot of adventure, and a tiny bit of the normal unfortunate stuff we all have to deal with to survive. So in honor of keeping this life awesome, we are driving off into the sunset (or lack there of), Hello summer solstice!
I am leaping out of my comfort zone and quitting my job. I mean REALLY great job. Robust pay, full of happiness, job. I am saying goodbye to Medical Administration and the patients whom I love dearly.
Why you ask? Because we are moving to Montana full-time! (insert happy dance here) Before we settle into the place my heart resides, we are going to spend the summer in Alaska. If you figure that neither of us are working, why not take a few months to explore the Yukon Territory, get lost in Alaska, and visit my second favorite place in the world, Banff, Alberta Canada.
To be honest, I have no clue what we are getting ourselves into. However, when Dusty and I got married, we agreed that we would create a life worth living and never pass up an adventure. If I am certain of one thing, I don’t want to wake up one day and wish I had done something, but was too afraid to take the leap.
Cheers to the good life and the great unknown.
